Ancestral Health Movement Gathering Data

Nutrition is a common topic of discussion and debate.  I recently chatted with a doctor (who is in charge of running a weight loss clinic in SF) who cited to the National Weight Loss Registry and pretty much told me that for people to lose weight they had to have "eating disorder tendencies" I was blown away.  He said that was really the only data they had that documented what behaviors people had adopted that had led to significant weight loss.  What a sad state of affairs, and to have a doctor telling his patients that those behaviors were ok because they were "the only way to achieve lasting weight loss".  So sad and so wrong.

We are just beginning to quantify the impact of the Ancestral Health Movement (paleo, primal etc) but this is a great beginning.  Take a look and if you have questions let me know.  As a Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner I hope to empower and educate others about improving their health and increasing longevity.  :)
